| I have finally come to a decision, I am going to College! Yes, you heard right. No, I'm not kidding. So, I'm syking up for a major crash course. You see, I have decided to do away with the normal four years thing and try for six days. I know it sounds hectic, but.... *grin* Okay, here's the story. I went in and applied at Sykes (the place Doug and Em work at). Note, it's not a good idea to try and do a job interview and a series of tests when your sick. My brain literally hurt. But I made it through and they offered me a job in the technical side. That means I have to go and take a basic Networking Refresher course and a Enhanced Networking Course. I'm thinking it should be fun. Admittedly, a little freaky. Then I go into Sykes and take another test. If I pass I get the job. My training then will begin at Sykes the 10th of March. After that, I go to work on them about letting me off for Em's wedding. I'm praying they give me more than one or two days! Maybe if I smile enough....! So, that's what's up down here in my world, at least a little bit of it! ~Jo | | |
| ...I've hacked her site. Sort of. Jo is in limbo. Where is she living? In Tomahawk with Wes and Mercedes? Or in Stratford with Ken and Patty? Will she get a job while she's staying in Wisconsin? And where at: Wausau, Tomahawk, Rhinelander, Marshfield, or Stratford? And will any place hire her with uncertainty as to the length of her employment? Will she go back to Kentucky, or take a trip to Mexico? (MEXICO???) Will she ever live down the fact that she lost three Uno games to Sarah last night? How many keys does one person really need? And which days does the mail come anyway? These are the pressing issues. Currently she is staying here with us, and we're having a great time! We're spending quality time together playing games, talking late into the night/early morning, running errands, and lots of other stuff I won't take the liberty to write about. Such is Joyce's life, as I know it. The End. -Sarah | | |
| For the last four weeks I've been working at Golden Harvest in the bakery. I guess I'm actually rather surprised at myself for taking the job. You see I started out agreeing to work one week while they had their pie sale. Then I somehow got convinced to stay, after first making sure that I wouldn't have to come in at 5 which means I would have to leave at 4:30, which further means I would have to get up at 3:30 or 4. Sorry, I'm not designed that way *grin*. And even though I never imagined myself enjoying longterm work in a bakery... I've found that I do. And it's a real answer to prayer. One thing that makes it really neat is getting to work with my friends. So, my job? Keeping everyone in line with whatever means the situation requires.... that may include spray bottles, bread dough, soap suds, esc... So yeah, if your ever bored and need some excitement, drop by and say hi. Oh , and don't forget to buy some cookies or bread or something (I have to be a good sales woman ya know). My paid job? hmm... that depends on the day or time. Bagging, baking, starting fires (in the oven of course), rolling out pie crusts, and so forth. There's something about having a job.... well... I like it. ~Jo | | |
| Ok, here's a post for the best sister in the whole wide world!!! She is finally here in WI and we're hanging out having a wonderful time. Em flew in to Appelton on Tuesday and I got to go pick her up. It was a rather long, lonely drive there and a long, not lonely drive home trying to keep eachother awake. We had a lot of fun. I'm so glad your here Em! | | |
| Aright, so this might seem kinda funny. But we have all been patiently waiting for a very long time to see pictures of Moses Caudill. Therefore inspite of the fact that I am here in WI, I shall be the first to post pictures *Grin*.
*laughs* what a look. wonder who he's narrowing his eyes at.
So there's my cute little nephew. You have my accomplis and some under the table business to thank for finally getting these pictures out! So long folks! ~Jo | | |
